GEORGANNE SCHWEICKERT
What was it? A dream? A vision? Or reality? At age 6, on Christmas Eve, Georganne went downstairs in her family’s rented home to see if Santa Claus had been there—and saw Jesus! He set her course toward a consecrated life.
She has a broad Christian background, growing up in the Lutheran church and learning to love the classic hymns; attending an Evangelical country church where all the gospel hymns and choruses were sung; and then being part of the Charismatic Renewal from its beginnings.
Georganne served in leadership with the ministry to women called Aglow for 20 years, during which time she also reared two sons to follow the Lord. She taught several home Bible studies each year. In churches, she taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Adult Classes, the Ministry to Singles; and Youth Drama, at her church. She pioneered humorous and worshipful “lip synchs” and human videos; choreographed and acted in church musicals; worked behind the scenes; headed up the Church’s prayer team and was a member of Pastors' Partners, a prayer/input group.
Georganne speaks from the heart, teaches, and ministers at churches, retreats, home groups, college campuses; and conferences. She has mentored many spiritual daughters, who are also serving the Kingdom.
Her first husband became ill with cancer in 2000, and went to heaven in 2001. Georganne has a compelling testimony of God’s faithfulness in many challenges.
Georganne’s purpose is worship; her calling is teaching; and her commission is to teach leadership. She has ministered in 7 overseas countries and 10 states.
She founded two Schools of Ministry, and was ordained in 2004. Dr. G has two Master's degrees and received her Doctorate in Theology in 2010. She published a book on a level of worship and intercession called High Praise, inspired from Psalm 149, and is working on another book preparing young people for marriage. She and Robert also are trained in Disaster Relief and are IFOC members, the Christian Chaplaincy Corps. She and Robert have been tv guests and broadcast radio Bible series, including Ask the Pastor programs.
She creatively and enthusiastically brings the Word of God to life on a broad range of topics, from applied foundational teachings to Leviticus and Song of Solomon! Her heart is to reveal our holy, loving God and establish a dynamic Biblical faith on a solid foundation, so that people of all ages can know Him.
ROBERT SCHWEICKERT
Robert’s story touches people of all ages. Robert’s father left home with another woman when Robert was 12, leaving his stay-at-home mother and the three children to do the best they could.
At 13, Robert attended a Billy Graham crusade, and opened his heart to the Lord. Robert says, “I looked up to the sky and said, “Well, God, I’ve got a new Father!”
Because Robert took his new relationship to Jesus seriously, he is a man without bitterness, anger, or issues. The Lord pours inspiration, restoration, transformation, and the Father’s blessing through him in ministry.
After twice being selected as an All-American from Virginia Tech, Robert was drafted by the New York Jets as a quarterback, as was another quarterback, Joe Namath. Robert spent 3 years with the Jets before his military service. Later, he married his childhood sweetheart from Virginia, but was widowed in 2000.
Georganne became his wife in 2002; and they expanded Knowing Him Ministries together. Robert and Georganne were ordained in 2004. Together they have ministered in settings from Catholic to Charismatic, in 7 countries on 3 continents and in 10 states across the US.
Robert has spoken to groups of men and women; to athletes, churches; retreats, conferences, radio and tv, inspiring people to follow the moral law of the Bible and imparting wisdom and transformation.
Robert teaches the young to prepare themselves for a good marriage; he encourages mature men to love their wives as Christ loves the Church. Robert shines at teaching character issues because he lives them from the heart. He imparts Father's heart; with honor, integrity, giving, and serving in a lifestyle that pleases Jesus.
One of his outstanding gifts is persuasive evangelism, and Robert’s favorite verse is John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes on Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
